Hasbro Pulse : Razor Crest
Fans of The Mandalorian on Disney+ will recognize that the iconic Razor Crest is the ship that Din Djarin (The Mandalorian) relies on to get him across the galaxy. It has become yet another iconic space ship familiar within the Star Wars universe. Hasbro and Lucasfilm teamed up to make this ship available as a toy via HasLab. The Star Wars The Vintage Collection Razor Crest, was the second HasLab Star Wars project crowdfunded by fans.
Inspired by the project, I created this toy photo as a way to share my excitement about being a backer of the Razor Crest. I wondered how Mando and the Child would pass the time if they too were waiting on it to arrive. As I built my own ships out of boxes as a child, I figured they might too build their own ship out of a Hasbro Pulse cardboard box.
Jerrod Maruyama Hipster Mickey
It’s always an honor to work with artists that I admire. Tony is someone I have admired for a long time, not only for his incredible work but also for his discipline and motivation. I had the chance to work with Tony to produce some promotional product photos for his line of battle patches. The idea was to create a Godzilla inspired background that would complement the patches while providing a unique visual juxtaposition.

Marvel 80th Anniversary
For the 80th Anniversary of Marvel, Hasbro expanded the Marvel Legends 6” action figure line with the release of several of its most iconic characters. Prior to the new product release, Hasbro asked me to help promote the new line through a series of toy photos featuring Hulk vs. Wolverine, Captain America, and Iron Man. The shots were heavily inspired by original comics, focusing on composition, contrast, and color.
Power Rangers : Lightning Collection
Go, Go, Power Rangers! For over 15 years the Power Rangers have been “going” strong. After securing the Power Rangers License, Hasbro introduced the Lightning Collection, which includes every show iteration of the Power Rangers since 1994. The goal with my collaboration with Hasbro was to help promote the Power Rangers #hasbrotoypic community initiative through a series of photos featuring figures from the collection.
X-Men Retro
The Marvel Legends Retro Collection combines the nostalgia of the retro packaging with modern action figure technology and design. I partnered with Hasbro to showcase the X-Men Retro series through toy photography.

Woody
My ongoing partnership with Your Toy Link extends beyond just shooting product for promotional purposes. We began a yet-to-be-named series using following the silly crossover adventures of Revoltech Woody from Toy Story. Not only is this figure a great product in itself, it brings out our creative side allowing us to just have fun. After all isn’t that what toys are for?

Honyaku Karakuri C-3PO
I was fortunate enough to have early access to the Meisho Honyaku Karakuri C-3PO before it’s official reveal at Star Wars Celebration in 2019. The figure was provided by Bluefin Brands as an official collaboration to help promote the product. One shot was selected and display at the Bluefin Brands booth, along with other work from fellow toy photographers in the community.
Exclu + Kotobukiya
Kotobukiya is a collectibles company that focuses on creating high quality statues featuring pop culture icons. Exclu Collective teamed up with Kotobukiya to promote several of its products. I was tasked with shooting the ArtFX Wonder Woman along with the ArtFX+ Carnage statues.
The Black Series : 4-LOM
As Hasbro continues to create new characters and expand it’s Black Series line at an incredible pace, collectors are finally getting the chance to backfill gaps within their collection. For many, 4-LOM was one of several characters introduced that fulfilled that desire.
The Black Series : General Veers
Many people might not even know who General Veers is, but for the die hard Star Wars fan that is a different story. Your Toy Link was able to provide early access to this figure, which made creating product shots exciting. We wanted to give customers a unique look at the removable accessories and focus on the new face sculpting and printing technology reflected in this figure.
Hot Toys Captain Phasma
Of all characters from the Star Wars sequel saga, Captain Phasma just might have the best armor and overall design. This is beautifully represented in the 1:6 Hot Toys version. I worked with Your Toy Link and Sideshow Collectibles to create a handful of toy photos that showcase the quality and craftsmanship that collectors have come to expect from Hot Toys.
Egg Attack Action : Star Wars
To help promote Beast Kingdom’s Star Wars Egg Attack Action figures, I worked in conjunction with Exclu Collective to produce a series shots featuring the new products. The whimsical proportions and detailed representation of the First Order Troopers add a unique aesthetic to the final shots. Once again, I utilized my digirama technique along with some hand made physical props and GTP Space Walls.
