WORK
CLIENT PROJECTS
Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with some amazing toy brands, helping them bring their products to life in fun, creative ways. My approach to toy photography is all about solving problems—showcasing products through high-end photography that elevates their appeal, or creating marketing materials that capture attention and boost engagement. Below, you’ll find examples of projects I’ve worked on, each one showcasing how collaboration and creativity come together to bring products to life.
BEYOND THE GATES
The Jurassic World Hammond Collection '93 Jeep Wrangler marks a new chapter for Mattel's collector figure line, and Episode 5 of Beyond the Gates Creator Edition Season 3 celebrates it with a full diorama build. I designed and constructed a Jurassic Park exterior bunker from scratch, complete with tire tracks pressed into real dirt and overgrown tropical foliage. This is the full behind-the-scenes breakdown of how it came together.
NECA
HASBRO
Fans of The Mandalorian on Disney+ will recognize that the iconic Razor Crest is the ship that Din Djarin (The Mandalorian) relies on to get him across the galaxy. It has become yet another iconic space ship familiar within the Star Wars universe. Hasbro and Lucasfilm teamed up to make this ship available as a toy via HasLab. The Star Wars The Vintage Collection Razor Crest, was the second HasLab Star Wars project crowdfunded by fans.
Inspired by the project, I created this toy photo as a way to share my excitement about being a backer of the Razor Crest. I wondered how Mando and the Child would pass the time if they too were waiting on it to arrive. As I built my own ships out of boxes as a child, I figured they might too build their own ship out of a Hasbro Pulse cardboard box.
Hasbro’s Star Wars product line continues to grow with the addition of the Hyper Real series. This expansion of the well established The Black Series introduces iconic Star Wars characters in an all-new eight inch scale, with The Empire Strikes Back Darth Vader being the first character introduced. The Hyper Real collection promises accurate sculpt detail, premium soft goods and materials, all supported by a metal die cast armature for solid articulation.

For the 80th Anniversary of Marvel, Hasbro expanded the Marvel Legends 6” action figure line with the release of several of its most iconic characters. Prior to the new product release, Hasbro asked me to help promote the new line through a series of toy photos featuring Hulk vs. Wolverine, Captain America, and Iron Man. The shots were heavily inspired by original comics, focusing on composition, contrast, and color.
Go, Go, Power Rangers! For over 15 years the Power Rangers have been “going” strong. After securing the Power Rangers License, Hasbro introduced the Lightning Collection, which includes every show iteration of the Power Rangers since 1994. The goal with my collaboration with Hasbro was to help promote the Power Rangers #hasbrotoypic community initiative through a series of photos featuring figures from the collection.
The Marvel Legends Retro Collection combines the nostalgia of the retro packaging with modern action figure technology and design. I partnered with Hasbro to showcase the X-Men Retro series through toy photography.

Hasbro revealed a new line of Star Wars Retro action figures during the 2019 New York Toy Fair. The figures are faithful reproductions of the original 3.75” Kenner toys and rich with nostalgia. In collaboration with Hasbro, I created several toy photos featuring the products provided, which were used to promote and invigorate the line. The collection of photos were revealed by Entertainment Weekly on Star Wars Day 2019.
For the 40th Anniversary of the original Star Wars : A New Hope, Hasbro sent a handful of influencers a promotional box containing a Build Builder lightsaber. The May 4th 2017 promotion was on Star Wars Day also known by fans as “May the Fourth Be With You” Day. I was commissioned by Hasbro to provide a lightsaber inspired image that was included in the promotion as a limited edition print.
Sharing my love for Star Wars with my kids has been a true joy over the years. As a father of two boys and a girl, it has been wonderful seeing the efforts that Disney and Lucasfilm have gone make Star Wars accessible for all. The Forces of Destiny products are designed with girls in mind! I was fortunate enough to be a collaborative partner with Hasbro to help promote the initial wave of characters through my toy photography.
For the release of Solo : A Star Wars Story Hasbro created a new wave of action figures for its Star Wars The Black Series line. Hasbro sent the initial wave of Solo figures for another official Hasbro Toy Pic collaboration. I created a handful of photos that featured iconic scenes from the film along with some of my own fan-made poster designs.
Every year, new product is revealed at various conventions and toy fairs across the world. At San Diego Comic Con in 2017, Hasbro revealed a few much anticipated exclusives including this Grand Admiral Thrawn action figure. I created several toy photos in collaboration with Hasbro featuring this exclusive.
They’re the ‘freakin’ Guardians of the Galaxy… in 6” form. This collaboration with Hasbro was used to promote the release of wave 1 of the Marvel Legends Guardians of the Galaxy action figures. I wanted to bring out the expressions through this series of shots, keeping the focus primarily on the figure and less on the environment.
Bandai / Namco
I was fortunate enough to have early access to the Meisho Honyaku Karakuri C-3PO before it’s official reveal at Star Wars Celebration in 2019. The figure was provided by Bluefin Brands as an official collaboration to help promote the product. One shot was selected and display at the Bluefin Brands booth, along with other work from fellow toy photographers in the community.
In collaboration with Bluefin Brands, I produced a gallery of toy photos featuring the SH Figuarts Gladiator Thor and Gladiator Hulk. As evident in the photos, Tamashii Nations delivers premium quality through it’s 1:12 scale SH Figuarts line.
One of my favorite action figure collectibles line is the Meisho Movie Realization series produced by Tamashii Nations. The collection re-imagines familiar pop culture characters as they would be in the ancient era of the Samurai. So much creativity and thought is put into each character design and are masterpieces in their own right. I worked with Bluefin Brands to promote the Marvel products via toy photography.

With the release of Pacific Rim : Uprising, Tamashii Nations produced a toy line featuring the Robot Spirits known as Jaegers along with the beasts knowns as Kaiju. Working with bluefinbrands I created a series of beauty shots to promote the line. Though simple in execution, the backgrounds served to bring the focus on the product.
YOUR TOY LINK
My ongoing partnership with Your Toy Link extends beyond just shooting product for promotional purposes. We began a yet-to-be-named series using following the silly crossover adventures of Revoltech Woody from Toy Story. Not only is this figure a great product in itself, it brings out our creative side allowing us to just have fun. After all isn’t that what toys are for?
As Hasbro continues to create new characters and expand it’s Black Series line at an incredible pace, collectors are finally getting the chance to backfill gaps within their collection. For many, 4-LOM was one of several characters introduced that fulfilled that desire.
Many people might not even know who General Veers is, but for the die hard Star Wars fan that is a different story. Your Toy Link was able to provide early access to this figure, which made creating product shots exciting. We wanted to give customers a unique look at the removable accessories and focus on the new face sculpting and printing technology reflected in this figure.
Of all characters from the Star Wars sequel saga, Captain Phasma just might have the best armor and overall design. This is beautifully represented in the 1:6 Hot Toys version. I worked with Your Toy Link and Sideshow Collectibles to create a handful of toy photos that showcase the quality and craftsmanship that collectors have come to expect from Hot Toys.

Your Toy Link continues to be a great collaborative partner. The variety of toys and collectibles they have available keep shooting products fun and interesting. I had the chance to help promote Your Toy Link and Sideshow by taking shots of the 1:6 Hot Toys Jedi Luke Skywalker. As a high-end collectible, this figure practically shoots itself, yielding most impressive results.
EXCLU
As Phase one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe came to a close with Avengers End Game , we at Exclu featured some of our favorite Marvel MCU characters in toy form. With Spider-Man being my favorite from the series, I was excited to shoot the Mezco Homecoming figure.

To help promote one of Exclu Collective’s partners, Atmosphere Aerosol, I was tasked with creating a series of shots using their product, which in essence is fog-in-a-can. The product provides a natural looking fog and creates a dynamic atmosphere which is enhanced by the right light.
